Safer Cruising

Men who cruise in Lambeth parks and green spaces are sometimes for robbed and attacked, due to a perceived reluctance to report incidents to Police.

Be Safe and Think About the Following Points:

• Let a friend know where you’ve gone
• Don’t take any valuables with you
• If your driving park in a well lit area
• Be suspicious of large groups
• Trust your instincts - if a situation seems unsafe it probably is
• Drinking alcohol or taking drugs can affect the choices you make
• Be aware of your surrounding at all times, you don’t know who is watching you
• Keep an eye out in the press. The Police will release information about cruising area attacks. Some cruising areas are safer than others
